Shipping

We are shareholders of the shipping company Leonhardt & Blumberg (L&B), founded in 1903. L&B acts as managing owner for a fleet of around 40 container vessels in the feeder segment. All shipping activities are carried out centrally from Hamburg. Employment of the vessels is brokered by Hanseatic Unity, a joint venture with three other shipping companies. Part of the fleet is financed in partnership with private and institutional investors in the form of individual projects.
